Crispy Watkins was raised in the hills of East Tennessee, formed by fiddle tunes, Delta Blues, and Knoxville's scruffy Americana. Rhythmic and inviting, Crispy's tunes come up from the rivers and mountains to strike at deep questions and heart-yearnings that dance between mind, body, and soul connections, confronting pain and seeking healing. This is old-time inspired queer roots music with an ecological devotion and a mystic heart. Crispy is based in Fort Collins, CO, since 2014. 

In 2023 he is emerging with an updated sound that is experimental and heartfelt, moving both body and mind through rhythms and melodies that invite participation in the greater landscape of living.
